IOH Permits

Implements of Husbandry (IoH)

Under Wisconsin Act 377, vehicles defined as Implements of Husbandry (IoH) and  Agricultural Commercial Vehicles (Ag CMV) are allowed to operate at approximately 15% higher weight limits than previously allowed, or 92,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) and 23,000 pounds per axle, dependent on the number of axles and axle spacing.  Such vehicles are still subject to seasonal or special weight limit postings.

The Town Board of Morrison has adopted a motion to abide by 2013 Wisconsin Act 377, which sets new weight and length limits for IoH and Ag CMV’s.

Applying for a Permit

If the IoH or Ag CMV exceeds the length and weight limits in Wisconsin Act 377, then a permit must be submitted and approved by the Town of Morrison prior to traveling on any of the Town’s roads.
