Town of Morrison to Host Comprehensive Plan Visioning Workshop: Shaping Our Future Together
[Town of Morrison, October 22 2024] – The Town of Morrison is excited to announce the upcoming
Comprehensive Plan Visioning Workshop, an integral step in shaping the future of our community as the
Town, with the assistance of MSA Professional Services, works to update the Comprehensive Plan
document. A Comprehensive Plan is an important community document that defines goals and actions
to guide community decision-making over the next 20 years. The workshop is scheduled to take place on
Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Town Hall, 3792 Park Road Greenleaf, WI 54126, from 5 pm to
6:30 pm. The Town of Morrison Plan Commission meeting will be held at 7 pm where the Comprehensive
Plan project will officially be kicked off with Plan Commission members and MSA staff.
The Comprehensive Plan Visioning Workshop aims to engage residents, local businesses, stakeholders,
and community leaders in a collaborative process to define a collective vision for Morrison’s growth,
development, and overall quality of life. This workshop provides a unique opportunity for participants to
share their ideas, insights, and aspirations, ensuring that the future plans for our Town reflect the needs
and desires of its diverse population.
During the workshop, attendees will have the chance to:
- Participate in interactive discussions about key issues and priorities
- Contribute ideas for agricultural and natural resource preservation, transportation, housing, and more
- Collaborate with experts and fellow community members to brainstorm innovative solutions
- Shape the foundation of the Comprehensive Plan that will guide Morrison’s growth and development
