NOTICE

Sealed bids for the above project will be received by the Town of Morrison until the Bid Deadline. Bids may be submitted either in electronic format through Quest vBid or in paper format to Ayres Associates at 700 Pilgrim Way, Suite 180 Green Bay, WI 54304. Immediately thereafter, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The bid opening for this project will also be conducted using Microsoft Teams. Bidders and other interested parties may call the teleconference number: (715) 318-5006, conference ID: 703 977 37# on the day of the bids to hear bids results announced. The teleconference line will be open 15 minutes before bids are due. Bids will be opened after the bid deadline.

In general, the project consists of 162 LF of 83” x 57” CMP Pipe Arch with mitered ends, 53 LF of 77” x 52” CMP Pipe Arch with mitered ends, 100 LF of 49" x 33” CMP Pipe Arch with mitered ends, 11,750 LF of roadway reconstruction including approximately 13,000 tons of 1 1/4" base aggregate, 23,000 tons of 3” base aggregate, 6,700 tons of HMA roadway pavement, shouldering, driveway replacements, slope grading, turf replacement and related items.

A formal pre-bid meeting to examine the site will not be held. Contractors may view the site at their convenience.

A single prime bid will be received for the work.

BID SECURITY

Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the Bid Deadline.

Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Agreement and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds.

PROJECT FUNDING

This project is funded in part by financial assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Agricultural Roads Improvement Program (ARIP).

QUALIFICATIONS

Bidders shall be experienced in this type of work and shall submit a Statement of Bidder's Qualifications with their bid.
