ROAD WORK BIDS 2019

Bids for various roads in the Town of Morrison, Brown County for 2019 road work are being accepted;

Please submit your current bid price for the following service, of each, for an individual mile: Cold Mix wedging; Hot Oil Seal Coating; Full Depth Reclamation; Crack Filling; New Asphalt

Bidders must be pre-qualified in all areas bid.

Qualified sealed bids are due by 5:00 p.m. March 8, 2019. Bids will be opened at the

March 12, 2019 monthly Town of Morrison Board meeting.

There were 564 households out of which 38.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 73.0% were married couples living together, 4.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 18.8% were non-families. 14.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.93 and the average family size was 3.24. 2011 estimated census of 1,601 population.

In the town the population was spread out with 29.0% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 30.0% from 25 to 44, 23.3% from 45 to 64, and 10.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 35 years. For every 100 females there were 103.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 107.1 males.

The median income for a household in the town was $55,461, and the median income for a family was $59,013. Males had a median income of $36,776 versus $23,571 for females. The per capita income for the town was $19,841. About 4.6% of families and 6.2% of the population were below the poverty line, including 8.6% of those under age 18 and 3.0% of those age 65 or over.
